Staten Island Children's Museum Announces 2017 'Merry Music Series' The Staten Island Children's Museum announces its Merry Music Series; cultural music and dance performances throughout the month of December.

Nothing rings in holiday season merriment more than music. Navidad Flamenca performs cultural music, carols and dance while highlighting the rich holiday customs of the Spanish-speaking world and the Annabella Gonzalez Dance Theater will introduce families to an eclectic selection of jazz, Latin and neo-classical style dance. Celebrate Hannukah with a special Jewish cultural music performance and family singalong with Dr. Rabbi Abraham Unger and special guest Deborah Gross of the Traveling Jewburys.

Saturday, December 9, Navidad Flamenco at 2:00 & 3:00 pm

Sunday, December 10, Annabella Gonzales Dance Theater at 2:00 pm

Sunday, December 17, Hanukkah Sing-along at 2:00 & 3:00 pm

December is filled with many more memorable moments including making Mini Morsels, (or Mignadez, en fancais!) bite sized morsels for holiday sharing in Kidz Cook; learn the mysteries of magnets in Saturday Science, and make your own miniature world in Weekend Art Studio.

Fridays, ShopRite Kidz Cook at 2:00 & 3:00 pm

Sat, December 9, Second Saturday Science, sponsored by Con Edison, noon to 3:00 pm

Weekends, Art Studio, 1:00 to 4:00 pm

The holiday season wouldn't be complete without the Children's Museum's annual New Year's Eve (day) party! Celebrate and ring in the new year with music, crafts, games and light refreshments.
