Soccer Mommy Announces Tour with Kacey Musgraves, + Shares SCORPIO RISING Video

Soccer Mommy - twenty-one old Nashville native Sophie Allison - released her debut albumClean earlier this year to critical acclaim, and today she shares the music video for fan-favorite "Scorpio Rising." "I wanted the video for 'Scorpio Rising' to be a bit celestial," explains Allison of the Jonny Look-directed video. "The whole idea of laying out in a park in the middle of the summer while looking at the stars holds a significance to me, so I wanted to capture that feeling. I think there's also a sense of isolation shown in the video that reflects both the song and the headspace I was in while writing Clean."

Soccer Mommy has also been announced as support for Kacey Musgraves on her February 2019 tour. Allison and her band have been touring non-stop this year, including sold-out headline shows and recently wrapped tours with the likes of Paramore, Liz Phair, Phoebe Bridgers, Speedy Ortiz, as well as her current run with Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks.
