3,000 Off Broadway proudly presents Rock, Rhythm and Doo-Wop on the Debbie Reynolds Mainstage at the historic El Portal Theatre in the NOHO Arts District, North Hollywood, CA. This special two -performance engagement will be presented Saturday, October 13 at 3pm and 8pm.

Party like you are a teenager again in Rock, Rhythm, and Doo-Wop! This fun and exciting concert features Leon Hughes and THE COASTERS, CANNIBAL AND THE HEADHUNTERS (Land of 1,000 Dances), plus special guests and the songs you will never forget!

Celebrate some of the greatest rock and roll songs ever including Charlie Brown, Poison Ivy, Under the Boardwalk, On Broadway, I Only Have Eyes for You, In the Still of the Night, Only You, Earth Angel, Little Darlin', Sha-Boom, and MORE!

Leon Hughes has received numerous accolades for his 67 years in entertainment. He received the Rhythm and Blues Pioneer Award in 1994. In 2014, Leon Hughes was honored Inducted into the Doo Wop Music Hall of Fame in Hollywood, California. Leon was given a Recognition for his over 60 years in entertainment by the Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti. In addition, he was also given a Certificate of Recognition for his outstanding contributions in entertainment from the U. S. Congress. This honor was presented to him by U.S. Congress Representative Maxine Waters (D, CA.) at the Doo Wop Music Hall of Fame event on April 6, 2014.

El Portal Theatre is a historic landmark in the San Fernando Valley located in the heart of North Hollywood just minutes from Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Disney, ABC, CBS-Radford and NBC Burbank. The theatre, originally built as a vaudeville house in 1926, sits across Lankershim Blvd. from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Art Institute of California-Hollywood.
