Southern Californian based Firemelon creates their own distinct sticky Americana gumbo by fusing elements of twangy country guitars, gritty rock'n'roll and infectious pop melodies. The band's music stems from the desire to create something authentic and earthy. With simplistic instrumentation, straight-forward arrangements and honest lyrics, they have crafted a sound which has a consistent sonic flavor from start to finish. Their infectious energy remains present in everything they do, with their live performances being lauded by audiences across the West Coast. Influenced by the music of Lucinda Williams, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, and The War on Drugs (to name a few), Firemelon have succeeded in bringing their own edge to a timeless genre of music. The synergy within the band is embellished through the use of layered sonic textures and flurries of dynamic soundscapes.

Leading single 'Before Goodbye' is a passionate and heartfelt song about the departure of a relationship. Featuring a sweeping pedal steel guitar, resonating harmonica and a dominating bassline, the melancholy song emits a heartbreaking sense of yearning. Their captivating sound is brought to life with the Hammond organ, highlighting the band's aim of using traditional roots instrumentation to create modern music with a vintage edge. 'Time Will Tell' is a high-energy track, featuring jangly guitars, warm harmonies and driving rhythm sections, with vocals reminiscent of The War on Drugs, the single showcases the band's versatility.

The musical collective have shared the stage with such artists as Robben Ford, Kiefer Sutherland, Mike Campbell, Kim Wilson, Dr. John and David Lindley. Firemelon are now looking forward to the next phase of their musical endeavour with 'Before Goodbye' due for release summer 2018.
