Etta Bond Releases Second Part Of Her Double-Album HE'S MINE

UK singer/songwriter Etta Bond unveils He's Mine - the second instalment of her double album, following the release of part one a few weeks back, titled He's Not Mine.

In contrast to the album's first part, but in keeping with the entire project's overall concept, Ettachanges her perspective from the pain and frustrations of unrequited love and empty lusts on He's Not Mine, to the satisfaction of being embraced by the love of the right person throughout He's Mine. The second part has a clear focus around Etta's realisation that happiness within herself should be the priority. It's only once she achieves this, that her significant other comes along.

"The first half is kind of like therapy, the second half was more like enjoyment. Which are the two reasons I make music," Etta says when describing the differences between the two-part album

Etta tells her story through the use of her exceptional vocal range and ability to strip complex emotions to the core that she then translates beautifully into her records - something that she shares with two of her favourite artists Jill Scott and Amy Winehouse. Recognised for her courageous honesty when discussing subjects that most shy away from, Etta finally delivers the project that her fans and the music industry alike have been longing for. Of the album, Etta said:

"I haven't put much out in a while, especially in the form of a body of work. People seem so happy already with side one, so it makes me even more excited to give them the second side."

Having recruited Kojey Radical and Shaè Universe on He's Not Mine, Etta's impressive work onHe's Mine is supplemented by A2 and SiR, who contribute magnificently to album tracks 'Surface' and 'More Than A Lover', respectively. The majority of the production on He's Mine is handled by long-time collaborator and fellow OddChild artist Raf Riley, whose understanding of Etta's musical nuances help to create a cohesive sound.

Etta has already earned great praise around the double-album from some of the industry's most influential voices, which includes the likes of Julie Adenuga (Beats 1), Jamz Supernova (1Xtra),Twin B (Capital Xtra), MistaJam (1Xtra) and Manny Norte (Capital Xtra), among others.

"I'm proud of it all," Etta explains. "It's about being honest with myself. As soon as I was able to be honest and acknowledge something within myself, especially in music, things changed. This is the most important moment in my life right now."

Etta is partway through a 15-date tour around Europe & The UK, with performances still scheduled in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, and a sold-out London show at Village Underground.

He's Mine is out now via OddChild Music.
