ELECTRIC FOREST Moves Into Day Three

Today, Electric Forest (EF) settles into day three of its 5th installment, still buzzing from an epic musical moment last night that seemed to sum up why EF is so loved. The camaraderie and magic created from the shared Electric Forest experience was palpable last night when Skrillex, guitar in hand, joined The String Cheese Incident during their encore. The rocking version of "Break on Through (To the Other Side)" was an epic musical moment indeed. But it was also a symbol of what makes Electric Forest so truly unique and loved.

The String Cheese Incident and Skrillex have met in The Forest before. In 2011, The String Cheese Incident headlined three nights at Electric Forest as they always do. Skrillex, a then unknown underground DJ, performed a late night set at one of EF's smaller stages.

On this 2015 EF Friday night, as SCI and Skrillex shared the stage, Skrillex spoke to the crowd of 45,000 "Make some noise if you've been coming to this festival from the beginning!"

When Electric Forest launched in 2010, it bravely and seamlessly collided jam music culture with EDM. The result was the birth of a new music community, and over the festival's past 5 installments, this community has evolved into culture completely unique to Electric Forest.
