Cindy Lauper to Perform at Sound Board, 8/1

MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce Cyndi Lauper, at Sound Board on Thursday, July 1 at 8:00 p.m.
Cyndi Lauper, a singer and actress, achieved success in the mid-1980's with the release of her album She's So Unusual, and became the first female signer to have four top-five singles released from one album. She has released 11 albums and over 40 singles, and as of 2008 has sold more than 25 million records worldwide. In May 2009, Cyndi appeared on the live finale of the eighth season of American Idol performing a duet of "Time After Time" with one of the top-13 finalists. On October 13, 2009, she started filming "The Celebrity Apprentice".
