Awakenings Announce 5 Nights of ADE Lineups

By:
Awakenings will expand during the coming edition of Amsterdam Dance Event (from 19 thru 23 October 2016). For the first time there won't be four but five nights of Awakenings in the Gashouder, on the Westergasfabriek premises in Amsterdam. This has been announced by organiser Monumental Productions.

Awakenings is a major fixture of the Amsterdam Dance Event, with invariably sold-out events and the best lineups in the area of techno in all its diversity.

On Wednesday October 19 the ball will be set rolling by Len Faki, who for the first time, together with Awakenings, will present a program of his own under the name Figure Night. He will offer a platform to Blawan, Cleric, Jeroen Search LIVE, Octave One LIVE, Rodhad and Roman Poncet.

Thursday October 20 has been reserved for Drumcode, the label of Adam Beyer, who will bring along Alan Fitzpatrick, Dense & Pika, Ida Engberg, Marco Reeve and Nicole Moudaber, and of course will take place behind the turntables himself.

On Friday October 21 Joris Voorn can be expected with andhim, Apollonia, DJ Kölsch, Sebastian Mullaert (aka Minilogue) and Truncate.

Joseph Capriati will be the host on Saturday October 22, with Flavio, Luigi Madonna & Markantonio and Pan-Pot, among others. A special feature this night will be the appearance of Sven Vath, who is coming back to ADE for the first time in years.

The five-day Awakenings will come to an end on Sunday October 23 with the ADE Closing Party, from 18:00 to 06:00 hrs, with AnD (live), Ben Sims, Dax J, Heaken, Marcel Dettmann, Mike Storm, Oscar Mulero, Scuba and UVB.

Ticket sales for all five nights start today June 21st www.awakenings.com

The sixteenth edition of Awakenings Festival, the best-known and largest outdoor techno festival of Europe (Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June Spaarnwoude Houtrak) is sold out. The complete lineup can also be seen on www.awakeningsfestival.nl.
