Photo Coverage: BORDEAUX WINES are Outstanding Bordeaux is the largest wine-growing region in France with 65 appellations. With the area's diverse climate and soils, known as terroir, it produces an outstanding range of red, white, rose, claret, dry white, sweet white, and cremant. Bordeaux's terroir is the origin of beloved grape varietals that include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, and Semillon. Tradition and ancestral skill that has been handed down through the generations are constantly perfecting the region's fine wines.

Vins de Bordeaux are achieved by blending and harmonizing different varietals. Broadwayworld.com recently had the opportunity to attend a tasting in Jersey City where we experienced a wonderful assortment of fine Bordeaux wines.
