Review: POKE JUNKE Wows Guests in Midtown

Welcome Poke Junke to the heart of Midtown Manhattan on West 38th Street. Incredibly convenient for shoppers, commuters and theatergoers, it's now officially open and ready to please their guests.

We love Poke Junke's setting. The spacious and airy venue is complemented by colorful floor to ceiling murals, neon signs, and custom artwork. Stop by. You'll be a fan of the restaurant in no time.

Poke Junke has tapped the talents of the internationally renowned chef, Juan Suarez de Lezo who has created dishes you wont find anywhere else. While poke restaurants have become popular all around the city, Poke Junke is a total stand-out. Everything is prepared in-house and the food's flavors are fresh and vibrant.

The menu is elevated to include Chef Juan Suarez de Lezo's tantalizing signature bowls with global influences. The Squid Pasta is a perfectly seasoned combination of rice noodles, squid, cilantro, cucumber, pickled ginger, tobiko, chives, pickled shitake, furikake, crunch rice and ginger ponzu. A favorite, the Ahi Tuna has the choice of quinoa or coconut rice topped with tuna, cucumber, red onions, avocado, pickled ginger, pickled turnip, crunchy garlic, crunchy onion, bonito flakes, lemon ponzu and sriracha mayo. And the Tropical Ceviche is prepared to perfection with kale, tuna/yellowtail, red onions, fresh jalapenos, roasted pineapple, sweet potato, lime square, crunch corn, crunch garlic and leche de tigre.

Or enjoy customizing your own bowls with a top selection of bases, proteins, mix-ins, toppings, crisps, and sauces. There are endless tempting combinations that will inspire you to come back again and again. Be sure to let the staff know if you have any dietary preferences or restrictions so you can enjoy the best choices for your needs. There are plenty of gluten-free and vegan options.

We are excited that Poke Junke will be expanding their menu to include distinctive items for table sharing, savory soup, and specialties like fish tacos. And they offer a great selection of beverages like Gus Soda, Honest Tea, and La Croix.

You'll be wowed by Poke Junke. They are presenting poke bowls and more at a price point that makes them ideal for lunch, dinner or anytime you have your poke craving.

Poke Junke is located at 38 West 38th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues). It is convenient to the theatre district and just a short walk from Grand Central Station and Penn Central Station.
