Italy is in the throes of a turbulent race to elect a new prime minister. On John Oliver's show, Last Week Tonight, Oliver discusses the colorful contenders and introduces an equally ridiculous candidate.

"Yes Italy, my candidacy for prime minister may be a complete and total farce," Oliver said. "But be honest - incredibly, I am far from your worst option."
