Producer Rick Murray welcomes the multi-talented Sandra Bernhard back to Provincetown for two performances only, Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29 at 8:00 p.m. in the Paramount Theatre at The Crown & Anchor. Bernhard will be performing her show, Sandra Monica Blvd: Coast to Coast, which will feature her band, The Sandyland Squad.

The event is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2017 Crown & Anchor Cabaret Series. Tickets are now on sale for the Series, which takes place this summer in Provincetown, MA at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre, Cabaret Room, and Town Hall Auditorium.

Sandra Bernhard continues to tour nationally and overseas with her all new live show Sandra Monica Blvd: Coast to Coast which she debuted at The Wallis Annenburg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles and at her annual 2016 holiday shows at Joe's Pub in New York City. Sandra Monica Blvd: Coast to Coast spotlights her own unique, sharp blend of hysterical insight and outspoken views, with rock-n-roll, cabaret, stand-up and a little burlesque.

Bernhard's show, which also features her band, The Sandyland Squad, has been selling out venues in New York City, Los Angeles and all points in between. She is also now in her second year hosting her own hugely popular SiriusXM Radio daily live show, Sandyland, on Andy Cohen's Radio Andy channel 102.

Sandra Monica Blvd: Coast to Coast has already garnered rave reviews. Variety wrote, "What makes Bernhard's comedy so rare - whether she's philosophizing about Taylor Swift's squad or singing Dolly Parton's "Hard Candy Christmas" as imagined by Caitlyn Jenner - is that within every keenly observed pop-culture rant, there's an element of piercing truth. Bernhard remains as brash and brazen as she was in the 1970s."

The Daily Beast observed that, "The show makes one wonder what to make of Bernhard's distinctive place in the entertainment firmament. She is a show business stalwart of over three decades. Bernhard has evolved into a pop culture fixture, a jack-of-all-trades performer as actress, singer, comedian, and, more recently, a radio show host of SiriusXM's Sandyland. BroadwayWorld recently raved, "Bernhard showed herself to be a powerhouse vocalist and it was fascinating to witness the dueling facets of Bernhard's psyche in real time."

Of her overall career, The New Yorker wrote in December 2014, "Sandra Bernhard teaches the children-all those burgeoning spoken-word artists and monologists-how to perform observational comedy with style, and right on the political edge."

Bernhard's film credits include Martin Scorsese's iconic The King of Comedy, for which she was awarded Best Supporting Actress by the National Society of Film Critics. On the television front, Sandra appeared last year in several episodes of the hit CBS sitcom Two Broke Girls, while also guest-starring on episodes of Fox Television's Brooklyn 99. In 2014, she joined the cast of the Peabody Award winning ABC Family drama Switched at Birth in a recurring role. From 1991-1996, Bernhard played Nancy Bartlett-the first openly gay character on a network sitcom-on Roseanne.

Her various one-woman shows have included the groundbreaking Without You I'm Nothing, I'm Still Here... Dammit!, Everything Bad and Beautiful, and I Love Being Me, Don't You?

This season, proceeds from the Cabaret Series will benefit the True Colors Fund. Co-founded by Cyndi Lauper, the True Colors Fund is working to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth by creating systemic change through a broad continuum of advocacy, training and education, and youth collaboration programs.
