Child's Play NY Fall Film Fest at Child's Play NY

On October 8th at 6:00, Childs Play NY will screen a 60 minute festival featuring five original films. This is the collective work of dozens of children, who came together online to create original stories and film them. Guided by the teaching artists from Childs Play NY, each of these young story-tellers learned skills in screenwriting, on-camera performance and editing that manifested in an original short film.In lieu of charging admission, Childs Play NY asks you donate the ticket cost ($10) to When We All Vote, a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that is on a mission to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap by changing the culture around voting, harnessing grassroots energy, and through strategic partnerships to reach every American.Run time: 60 minutesFeaturing:Dark Things in the Daylight In a boarding school for girls with special skills, an evil force threatens to steal their talents.
