9 TO 5 Will Come to The Heights Players in May

The Heights Players will continue their season with 9 to 5: The Musical, featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and a book by Patricia Resnick. Based on the beloved 1980 film, this vibrant production brings humor, heart, and a whole lot of attitude to the stage.
Set in the late 1970s, 9 to 5 follows three working women - Violet, Doralee, and Judy - as they navigate the challenges of a male-dominated workplace. When pushed too far by their egotistical and overbearing boss, the trio band together in an unexpected act of rebellion that turns their office upside down. What unfolds is a hilarious and empowering story of friendship, resilience, and taking control of your own narrative.
Under the direction of Felisha Heng, this production highlights the strengths of the Heights Players community, bringing together a talented cast and creative team to deliver a show that is as entertaining as it is meaningful. 9 To 5 The Musical will run at The Heights Players, 26 Willow Place, Brooklyn Heights from May 1st - 17th, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm.
