“This second installment of our wood, wire, and song series will feature a unique blend of vibrant string quartet music with original songwriting, for a visceral blend that’s as unusual as it is familiar.
Celia Woodsmith and Jesse Dee are truly incredible powerhouse singers, whose fire and soulfulness are nonetheless matched by their thoughtful, relatable songwriting.
We’re equally thrilled to welcome bassist, arranger, raconteur, and musical compadre Zachariah Hickman back to the Village Church. Zachariah joined us most recently for Folk Electric at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in April, and for the LCSQ’s 2024 collaboration with Elizabeth Ziman and Dietrich Strause.”
