BSO Assistant Conductor Samy Rachid leads Yo-Yo Ma and acclaimed French violinist Renaud Capuçon in Brahms' Double Concerto for violin, cello, and orchestra. The program also includes Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine with Berkshire Lyric Chorus conducted by Jack Brown, and Brahms' String Sextet No. 2 in G, Op. 36 arranged by Atterberg. The program is an expression of gratitude for the friends that have helped transcend dark moments and offers historical wisdom in a time of fragmentation.
