Wasn’t That a Time: The Boston Folk Revival 1958 - 1965 is a one-day symposium presented by the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame and the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music. Scheduled for September 27, 2025, at the Arrow Street Arts Center, the event features musicians such as Noel Paul Stookey, Ellis Paul, Tom Rush, and Peter Wolf, who will discuss the early Boston folk scene and its lasting impact on American music. Panels will cover topics from the history of local venues like Club 47 to Joan Baez's career beginnings and the evolution of the folk genre.
