Thru Hike: A New Musical is based on the true story of Adrienne and Erin Burke-Moran, who walked the 2,190-mile Appalachian Trail in 2017 as a reckoning with the lives they had built and the futures they were walking toward at different speeds. Written by Adrienne Burke-Moran with original music composed on the trail by Erin Burke-Moran and songs from his work with post-rock band Caspian, the show explores the gap between the life one performs and the life one actually wants. The production is directed by Myriam Cyr, with co-direction by Michelle Joyner, and features Brian A. Mason as Erin, Janet Pohli as Adrienne, with Torin Cox and Sharon Mason in the ensemble. A post-show talkback with the cast and creative team will follow the Saturday, June 6 matinee.
