The comedy album THE FIRST FAMILY, a parody of the Kennedy Family in the White house in the early 1960's, was the biggest selling album of 1962, eclipsing even Elvis. The comedian VAUGHN MEADER starred on the album as JFK, and his career skyrocketed as he took his biting impression of the young President to TV shows, concert venues, and clubs all over the country. He was the hottest act in the country. Until 1 pm on November 22, 1963, when Lee Harvey Oswald's bullet ended the life of John F Kennedy, and Meader's career. the play, THE JESTER OF CAMELOT, by Jack Neary and Andy Dolan, chronicles Meader's meteoric rise and stunning fall.
