The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged) at Merrimack Repertory Theatre

Three actors race through all six of Jane Austen's novels—Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion—using sketch comedy, improvisation, audience participation, and lightning-fast costume changes. Directed by Jenny Lavery, the production features Hannah Gregory, Jasmine Bouldin, and Patrick Earl Phillips, and comes to Lowell following a successful run at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company with the same cast, creative team, and design elements. Gregory and Bouldin play devoted Jane Austen fans whose third cast member bails, leaving Phillips to step in and learn about Austen's works alongside the audience.
