Life on Stage This Fall
Falmouth, MA — Get ready to snap your fingers! The Falmouth Theatre Guild proudly
presents The Addams Family: A New Musical, opening October 31, 2025 at the historic
Highfield Theater in Falmouth. This spooky, kooky, and altogether ooky musical comedy
runs for 9 performances October 31, 2025 thru November 16, 2025.
Based on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams, The Addams Family is a
hilarious and heartwarming story of love, family, and acceptance—with a macabre twist.
Featuring music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick
Elice, the show follows Wednesday Addams as she falls in love with a “normal” young
man, bringing his unsuspecting parents to dinner at the Addams’ delightfully grim
mansion. Chaos and comedy ensue as Gomez, Morticia, and the rest of the ghoulish
gang navigate the most terrifying challenge of all—meeting the in-laws.
Directed by Joan McKenzie-Baird, with musical direction by Pam Wannie and
choreography by Danielle Latulippe, this production promises to deliver laughs, chills,
and a whole lot of heart.
“We’re thrilled to bring this family of lovable oddballs to life,” says Ms. McKenzie-Baird.
“It’s a show that celebrates what it means to love deeply—even when things get a little
strange.”
Performances will take place at Highfield Theater, 58 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA,
on the following dates:) October 31 thru November 16
Fridays and Saturday at 7:30pm; Sundays, 2:00pm
