Based on the classic novel by Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck, Of Mice and Men is about two drifters, George Martin and Lenny Small struggling for survival and chasing their dreams in depression era California. The pair have just landed a job on a ranch where it seems that, perhaps, their dreams to earn enough to buy their own place may finally come true. But Lennie's simple-mindedness and propensity for getting into trouble threaten at every turn to undermine their hopes. The play explores themes of racial and social bias, man's hunger for belonging and the true nature of friendship
