The Lyric Stage Company of Boston has created a season of plays that will inspire audiences to share in one-of-a-kind experiences that only live theater can create. It’s a season to gather together and connect with the friends we come with and the ones we make in the seat next to us.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder with Music and Lyrics by Steven Lutvak and Book and Lyrics by Robert L. Freedman will find its way to the Lyric Stage Company of Boston after originally scheduled to open on May 15, 2020.
The Lyric Stage Company of Boston presents its first musical since Little Shop of Horrors in October 2019 with Jason Robert Brown’s intimate portrait of young romance in The Last Five Years. Performances begin Friday, November 12 and run through Sunday, December 12. Press Performance is Sunday, November 14 at 3pm.
The Lyric Stage Company of Boston will welcome audiences back for their 47th season. Their six-show season asks us how far we would go for the people and things we hold dear. They're excited to open their doors on September 24 and share these powerful, exciting, and moving shows with audiences.
In light of the current situation, the Lyric Stage and the Front Porch Arts Collective have decided to postpone our production of Fabulation or, the Re-Education of Undine until the fall, replacing our previously announced production of The Light.
Spiro Veloudos, legendary theatre director and Boston theatre icon, announced today that he is retiring from his role as Producing Artistic Director of the Lyric Stage Company of Boston.
