L'Chaim America! at Museum of Jewish Heritage

L'Chaim America! is a new stage production by The Braid, the nation's leading Jewish storytelling theatre, exploring the vibrant and diverse contemporary experiences of American Jews as part of America's 250th anniversary celebration. Foregoing sets, props, and costumes, a handful of actors take on multiple roles, transporting audiences from an Iranian family's Thanksgiving table to the windswept great plains and beyond. The cast includes Kimberly Green, Zoë Hall, Rhiannon Lewis, Lillian Mimi McKenzie, Joshua Silverstein, and Marcelo Tubert, directed by Susan Morgenstern. The production features true stories from writers including Esther Amini, Sonia Nazario, and others, with music by composer Mike Himelstein.
