The Lowell Chamber Orchestra closes its seventh season with Heroism, a program centered on courage and resilience, performed on April 26, 2026 at the Richard and Nancy Donahue Family Academic Arts Center's Theatre at Middlesex Community College. The concert features Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 (Eroica), music by Marianna Martines, and a guitar concerto by Joaquín Rodrigo performed by guitarist and Middlesex Community College faculty member Raley Beggs. The program also includes Resiliens by Oliveira, the winner of LCO's Call-for-Scores competition, reflecting the orchestra's commitment to emerging composers. Under the direction of Music Director Orlando Cela, the concert is free and open to the public.
