The Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival presents a special performance by the Danish String Quartet, a GRAMMY-nominated ensemble praised by The Washington Post as 'one of the best quartets before the public today.' The quartet, comprising Frederik Øland and Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen on violin, Asbjørn Nørgaard on viola, and Fredrik Schøyen Sjölin on cello, performs classical repertoire as well as sophisticated arrangements of traditional Nordic folk tunes. The program includes Maurice Ravel's String Quartet and original works based on Nordic folk music composed and arranged for the ensemble.
