Meet First Lady Dolley Madison in Chit Chat with Dolley Madison™, a fascinating first-person performance presented by History At Play™, LLC.

A historic opportunity to converse with one of the most esteemed First Ladies in United States history, Presidentress Dolley Madison is coming to St. Margaret's Church's "Open Your Hearts" Charity Event. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity offers visitors the chance to have a tête-à-tête with the Presidentress; permitting them to ask questions no one else could answer but the First Lady herself. Let Dolley regale you with tales of escaping the White House during the British attack on Washington City and protecting the portrait of His Excellency George Washington. If you are fortunate, you may even be invited to one of Dolley’s famous “squeezes”.

Pre-registration required. For reservations, email Maria at mteager@burlington.org. This event includes a dinner which begins at 4:00 pm, performance at 5:00 pm. Appropriate for all ages. This production is based on factual events and primary sources.

The production is researched, written, produced, and performed by HAP Founder and Artistic Director Judith "Jude" Kalaora.
