The MWALIM TRIO features Mwalim on guitar, keys, and vocals, ZYG 808 on drums, and Richard Johnson on bass, delivering a fluid sound built on groove, improvisation, and storytelling. Mwalim is a multi-award-winning composer, vocalist, and producer, three-time New England Urban Music Award winner for jazz, and co-founder and music director of The GroovaLottos, the six-time Grammy-nominated soul-funk collective.
