Hi, I'm looking for Hair tickets for opening night and am being given either 2 Tickets, Right Mezzanine Row S, Seats 20-22 OR 2 Tickets, Left Mezzanine Row S, Seats 7-9 Which is better? Is the Mezz at this theater very high up? They have $77 seats in Left Mezz row R but I'm trying to save money and figure there's really no big different between R-S
Thanks for your help Happy Thankgiving

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Here's a big development. I purchased tickets for the opening night of Hair but now that the date has been changed and new producers have come on board they are trying to tell me my tickets are invalid for the new opening night. I have sent an email to telecharge with attn: customer service manager saying I would like my tickets to be honored for the new opening night.
Did they ever CLAIM that they would make an exact exchange? There is NO guarantee on that.
And I would CALL them...you will get quicker response.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I have no idea why you'd expect them to replace your tickets. I understand you must be upset, but you didn't pay any extra to get the opening night tickets and they don't really have a concrete guarantee on that.
I had tickets for the opening night. I figured that if they were not actually selling tickets for the opening night that they would not exchange mine for the new opening. I only bought them because I have never been to an opening and am a big "Aquarian". I'm going to hold on to my tickets for a while and see if they eventually go on sale for 3/31. Bummer...but what can you do? Here's hoping that with the new producers on board and the pushed back opening date that the show does well and stays around for a good run.

I have the same problem! I understand and everything, but I wouldn't have bought a full price ticket if it wasn't the opening night. I emailed Telecharge and hopefully they'll get back to me.
for those you who so rudely replied to my posting, I DID call telecharge customer service this morning and the agent had no answer for me. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and he said no and gave me a snail mail address. I then sent a reply to the email I was sent and asked that the opening night tickets be honored. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Please, everyone who is holding tickets for opening night, email them and tell them you have the same problem. if they get enough responses they may be willing to honor our tickets for the new opening night.
Yes, I DO expect them to honor my tickets. I bought them specifically because it was the opening night performance and if they have changed the date then i feel they should move my tickets to the new opening night. I made that point in my email. Hopefully I'll get a response.

I don't think anyone was rude. Just being factual.
And it's not up to telecharge to just switch the tickets. The producers of Hair make that determination. Since you did not pay EXTRA because it was opening night; they are NOT required to "honor" the tickets as opening night seats. (You chose to pay full price...the reason is inconsequential.)
They are either required to refund your money or replace the tickets for another performance at SIMILAR seats. Period.
Remember: that other people also bought tickets in advance for what is NOW opening night...even though they didn't know it was opening night. They now have to get enough seats for families and producers and such that would normally BE at opening night. Once that is determined, they can figure out how many MORE seats are still available and IF they can simply make switches.
Does that stink for you....yes, it certainly does and I can understand your dissappointment. But that doesn't change the answer of how it will/can be handled.

Some good news for us old opening night ticket holders. I called Telecharge today and asked to change my tickets to the new opening night and they put me over to a supervisor and they gave me my exact old seats.
That is very disappointing. I sent telecharge an email and they said they were refunding my tickets as opening night seats were not being sold. It's wonderful that they were able to do it for you. You are very lucky. I wish we were all so lucky. I can't help feeling like I got screwed.
