Thanks! I am glad to see Liza again..That looks like the ENCORE part and it seems she sings different songs every night! this one looks like Billy Strict is playing a piano while she sings HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY.....
I cant think of the song she sung last Saturday, but it was ( I think? ) a Judy Garland's song! It was also an acapella.
That clip made me day, dame..thanks!
Edit: By the way~she sounds GREAT in that YouTube clip.. You guys in NYC are lucky to see her! DON'T MISS IT!!!
Wow. If I had a penny to my name, I'd totally be there! Pray for Borstal, y'all.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Wait, there's a $20 rush? I've only heard about the $25 lottery.

Isn't she FIERCE? when I saw the show last Saturday~Everyone was standing at the Finale song NEW YORK NEW YORK! She is TRULY A REMARKABLE PERFORMER specially when you see her singing this song LIVE!! It was incredible experience!!
As I said... everyone was taking photos during her concert (since it was a concert!) and it seems she loved it~ she posed several times for people's camera. Dont know if they will ALLOW cameras at the Palace???
Yes. Liza does not seem to mind pictures, video,.. she even waves if she sees you. It is now ( wether you like it or not) like any other concert you go to see.. everyone has their cameras out.. I wonder how it will be tolerated at the Palace.
Oh and Jaystarr.. the song she sang last Saturday night was probably "I'll be seeing you".
Thanks Dame! You are right. Chris told me that she sang "I'll Be seeing You" as the requested ENCORE part. (Sunday was HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS) From what Ive heard ut varies from night to night.
A note on the camera. Looking back- I actually regret taking photos in the show. though I did not use my flash (that's why my photos are dark) I think if you are taking photos~it took away that "special moment"~ I would recommend NOT taking photos (even though~they might allow it on the Palace too) is just because you will be busy setting your camera and you wont be able to concentrate on THAT VERY SPECIAL MOMENT~ that you are there!~ if you take photos- your concentration will be divided between listening to the show and taking photos.
Also- using flash is very distractive. The guy at my back keeps using his flash and i get distracted by the flashes plus Ive noticed everyone's phone, Iphone, blackberry's LCD screens ~and that's VERY LIT inside the theater. I DEFINITELY Wont recommend taking photos during the show ( I wish I did not do it!) If you feel the urgency to do it- do it the the BOW part. because you wont be able to focus on the show! I felt like the time I took photos- I was not there at all at that very second. Its a weid feeling! Hindsight 20/20- I would NOT do it! Its just when I saw everyone taking photos i took mine too then I realized later that it took away some of my theaterical experience (because most of the time I was busy setting my camera)- i just dont want you guys to experience my regrets!

I agree with you about the photos. If I am there I am there to see a show. Not to take pictures and not to be distracted by the light of the other cell phones and cameras. but..thats what has been happening. You should have seen the Madonna concert. Even after going thru security lines to get into the venue EVERYONE had a camera of some sort.
