'Avenue Q' -London Production To Close March 2009.

On the 28th March 2009 the Cameron Mackintosh presented London production of 'Avenue Q' will play its final performance.
It opened on June 28th 2006 at the newly named Noel Coward Theatre (Albery Theatre)
Closing just 2 months short of it's third birthday it has run a hell of a lot longer than most people thought and proved a lot wrong who said it wouldn't find an audience in the UK.

I have a feeling the NY Production will close first. But time will tell.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

It actually opened in London in June 2006, so when it closes it will have had an almost 3 year run. Very respectable, but I'll be sad to see it go.

Wishing the show a great rest of its run!
