Except I don't believe it...no one knows that many people that can and WILL sing publically. Additionally: too many camera angles and how convenient that one of the cameras just happen to be aimed at the new person BEFORE they sang?
Seems contrived to me.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

No. It seems meticulously planned. That's all. It's the wedding of two dancers from the touring production of "42nd Street" (didn't you listen to the lyrics?) and obviously, having gone to all that trouble, they made sure the event was captured on film properly. It's called a tech run-through with cameras.
Why is this site filled with such cynical people? Maybe once in a while we should just enjoy ourselves.
No, I didn't listen closely because I wasn't drawn to it. Can't help if nothing about it made me "enjoy myself". I simply gave my opinion and thoughts.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Geez, someone here must even love to kick little dogs and cats and spit on old ladies crossing the street. How could anyone not understand that someone in musical theatre has a lot of friends and they rehearsed this number? Sounds "contrived"? I think the word is "rehearsed" not contrived.
When someone's first impulse is to shout "fake" it is pretty typical of the level this site has devolved to. Personally, I'm getting sick and tired of the nastiness that seems to be the first instinct so many of the posters here. In the last few days, it's gotten so bad that I have just decided to head out the door with a few of the other "legends" who, wiser than me, moved off this board months ago.
Don't bother with a catty reply, it won't be answered civilly.
I loved it!! So original, and the guests looked like they were eating it up. My friend, Nicole, is a dancer/choreographer; she wanted a little "performance" at her wedding. The groom took dance lessons, and for their first dance, it was a spectacular choreographed event. Not the same as this video, but unique.

Yep! I totally want this to be my wedding. I was definitely crying by the end (granted I'm sick and I cry at everything when I'm sick). That's just awesome and very special. :)
