Ticket for tonight (OR ANY NIGHT!) for Sunday in the Park with George: best offer.

I have a ticket for tonight's performance of Sunday in the Park with George, but I am unable to attend. When I called the theater, they said that, if it goes unused today, I could call any other day, and they will replace it with whatever is available for that day. But, I'm just in town for a few days, so I don't think I will be able to use it. They said that generally they can provide comparable seats. My seat for tonight is Orchestra, Row AX, seat 103, and I paid $85.25 (plus fees) for the typically $121 orchestra seat.

However, I'm out in the 'burbs (Monroe - Orange County) for the evening. If there happens to be anyone out this area who'd want to buy it for tonight (best offer takes it), I'd be happy to meet you near Woodbury Common or something with the ticket.

Or, if you're willing to take a chance on the seat for any other day, I could meet you either in the city, Rockland, Westchester, or Orange.

I'd love to not totally throw this money away, so, if you're interested, please e-mail me at (I'll need to check msgs from my phone, so please don't just PM). Thanks so much!

Cancel whatever you have to do and SEE THIS SHOW!

OK, that doesn't help you, but if it is at all possible to see this show, I suggest you do.

How nice of Roundabout to offer to exchange for free for you! They don't have to do that.

I ended up rearranging my plans and getting to see the show tonight You're right; it was worth missing almost* anything to do so!

And, TonyVincent - absolutely: the Roundabout people are amazingly nice. Much to my shock--things don't usually work out so smoothly for me!--it was absolutely no hassle at any point, especially considering it quite clearly says on the ticket "no refunds or exchanges," and I never expected they'd actually let me do it. So, big props to the Roundabout and the folks at Studio 54 for being good people. Yay.

*The reason I had to miss it on Tuesday was because it was my mom's last elementary school play before she retired, and they were doing some nice Mr. Holland's Opus-y things for her, and I really wanted to be there. It wasn't Sondheim, but it was worth being there for. And, I had to make a speech at her retirement dinner the next night, and I totally ended up referencing Sunday throughout it. (And, it was a damn good speech, if I do say so myself Roundabout Rules ).
