Oh, this is tough.

Definitely Lestat and The Little Mermaid (I'm sorry, I LOVED the movie, but a piece of me died when I saw that atrocious show on stage).

Off-Broadway, The Musical of Musicals: The Musical. To this day, the only musical I've ever walked out of. I was bored senseless and the guy asleep to my right had more energy than the cast.

Also, did anyone see the Jesus Christ Superstar video from a couple of years ago? Worst piece of garbage to ever grace my DVD player. Thank God FYE bought it back for like $4. Suckers.

There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]

I will give my top two that I happened to see this year, both for the very first time and it will be very last time as well. They would be:
1) Ring of Fire
2) CATS

I'm still dumbfounded at how CATS ran as long as it did. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from it but I thought it would be somewhat decent...NOPE! I couldn't wait for it to end.
And I won't even get started on Ring of Fire

I would have to say my least favorite musical, as a whole, would be Titanic. The book was just lousy and never focused on any character long enough for me to give a damn. The score is beautiful though.
My least favorite production I have ever seen is the most recent national tour of Sweeney Todd. If it weren't for Judy Kaye and the kid playing Toby, I would have walked out at intermission.

Cats!! I had been looking forward to seeing it and was extremely disappointed.

I forgot about Titanic. While it isn't my least favorite, it is certainly the most disappointing I have ever seen.

"Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." Actually, it just bored me.

"West Side Story." Maybe because I've never seen a decent production.

"Cats" and "Starlight Express" get no love from me, too.

GOOD VIBRATIONS - the horror, the horror.

RING OF FIRE - for pure torture, still the most excruciating Broadway experience I've had. So bad it was just really awful.

NEXT TO NORMAL, at least in the incarnation at Second Stage, I understand some DRASTICALLY needed changes have been made.

NEVER GONNA DANCE - whoa.

PASSING STRANGE - I've posted on this elsewhere.

GREY GARDENS - two very good performances managed to pull the wool over the eyes of almost the entire planet, making them ignore the fact that this is an extremely drab little show based on an endlessly fascinating and disturbing film.

2. Grease
3. Footloose

**I hate High School Musical with a passion, but that doesn't really count as a Broadway musical in my opinion

It really said US Navy, but hey, I worked with what they gave me ok.
