Hey there everyone,

I'm needing a soprano song by Stephen Schwartz for my repetoire class.
I know there are some good soprano ones from Wicked, but I was wanting to do something that wasn't that obvious.
Does anybody recommend any?
Thanks for your ideas guys

xx

Schwartz doesn't have too many true Sop. songs...

Maybe "Kind of Woman" from Pippin?

"Spark of Creation" from Children of Eden is probably my favorite and has a wide range.

belting or legit?

"spark of creation" would be good for belting... not really soprano though

"stranger to the rain", "on the willows" (sounds beautiful sung by a female), and "I'll Miss The Man" (from PIPPIN) are good.

even "day by day" is fine
