Ok, so I was watching Grey's Anatomy the other night, and it hit me how much I miss Sara Ramirez on Broadway! I saw her twice in Spamalot, and she had me in tears I was laughing so hard! I think she needs to come back to Broadway soon!
She says she misses Broadway and was obviously all over the place here while the strike was on. They are filming the season finale now, so I wouldn't be surprised to find her back in NY in the next few weeks. As far as leaving Grey's, I got a little worried about her character's status for a bit there, but it looks like they are moving Callie to the forefront. She's hooking up with Mark and going to have SOMEthing going on with a female character. Whether it's just a harmless crush remains to be seen. I would love to see her back on the stage, but I can see her more often on the small screen. I hope she does some smaller things here this summer. AND she has an album to finish. Can't wait.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!
I would love to see her return to Broadway as well. Those wonderful pipes shouldn't be away from the stage for too long. I do adore her in GREY'S ANATOMY though, one of my favorite characters in the show. I hate the way they took her story-line with George, and that they never showed a good-bye scene between her and Addison. But I really hope she gets into it with Hahn!

I totally agree. I'll admit, I cannot get enough of her at all. I swear, I listen to more music with her singing lately, then I do with regular mainstream music. Believe me, if she came back to Broadway, I would see whatever show she was in from any seat in the theater. I wouldn't care because I like her that much.
But yeah, as long as she still does Grey's Anatomy, I will be happy.
