MTV has a lot of random reality shows/shows going on right now so I'd assume that they'll wait for those to simmer before they start LB

As of mid March, they were still filming the show so I imagine it will go up in late May. that should put it on track to end in August.

MTV does not begin advertising their reality shows until about 25 days to 1 month before the show's airing date.

And I just found out that Haylie Duff (Hillary Duff's older sister) is hosting the reality show. Oh dear...

well they filmed the finale a few weeks ago and the new Elle will take over when LBB leaves in July so I'd imagine they will run the show so that it ends only a few weeks before her debut. I don't know how many weeks the show is going to be but if anyone knows you can probably do the math and figure out about when it is going to start. But I think May is a good guess.

they haven't filmed the finale yet.

they were going to and cancelled it, because they didn't want the studio audience knowing the winner in March.

they all sign confidentiality agreements but that wouldn't stop them...

yeah I knew they canceled the live audience taping of the finale, but I thought I heard somewhere that they still just filmed it without an audience.

They have scheduled it for a later date (I heard end of April).

either way, we'll safely assume the show is airing in May.

I thought I'd read that they'd changed the concept of the show so that the winner would take on the role on tour rather than on Broadway. Or maybe that was just a rumor. I wish I could remember.

well if they really did reschedule the finale and didn't just tape it without an audience like I thought then it that sucks for the girls auditioning for Elle. They would have found out and then they are suddenly told that because of confidentiality they will be told in a month or so??!!

It was filmed without an audience.
I know people who were there.
A winner was chosen and all involved signed waivers not to reveal the winner.

Becky is doing the tour, I heard it from her.

Scheduling the show is still being worked out.
MTV doesn't quite understand how Broadway works yet.
