There is enough Patti bashing on this website without perpetuating the myth that she is problematic to work with. Unless you personally know members of the cast I dont see how you would know how the rest of the cast feels about that ad anymore than I would. I would venture to guess however, that the rest of the cast is thankful they are in a show where the leading lady got good reviews.

I honestly don't know where this "She's hard to work with stuff" started. The Evita cast liked her. The Anything Goes cast liked her. The Sweeney cast loved her and the Gypsy cast seems to love her too. She may be a Broadway "diva" and she may come across that way, but she really is a rather lovely person. She STARTED in ensemble acting. She LOVES ensemble acting. There is no way she would do the things you said she would in your ridiculously lame video. I'm no Lupone freak. I don't worship her. I thing she's ridiculously talented and a marvelous actor, though. And I do know she's nothing like the diva people make her out to be. Leave the poor woman alone. Thank you.
And you see the carinal rule of BWW in action: Say something people don't like and you will be beaten till it is removed. And who said Theater people are tolerant.
Isn't the entire "Patti's difficult to work with" because of how rough Sunset Blvd. was for her? That's the only show that I've ever heard of "icy backstage relations" come out of.
