So I'm working on a feature that will list YOUR favorite disc of 2007.

Please make sure the official street date was in 2007 (you can easily find this on Amazon).

Please email your selection, your fist name, and your location to

broadway2seattle@hotmail.com

Deadline is Friday; we will try to print as may of your selections as possible.

And JUST to clarify:

Although Amazon lists the Broadway GREY GARDENS cast recording as being released in June 2006, that's not true, is it? Wasn't the Broadway recording released Summer/Fall 2007? I'm almost positive it WAS 2007.

Thoughts?

The Broadway disc was 2007 Munk. I didn't include it because the majority of the recording was released in 2006.

You just said favorite disc. I'm assuming it has to be theatre related?

Don't feel like doing the whole e-mail and name thing, but my number one choice is LOVEMUSIK (since GREY GARDENS doesn't count).

Grey Gardens!

"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott

Haha, that's why I asked, Jerby. My favorite Cds this year were definitely not showtunes, save for perhaps GREY GARDENS and 110 IN THE SHADE.

It's a Broadway-dedicated web site and it was posted on the message board, for Bobby's theater-dedicated blog...do we really need the "smart-ass" questions?

I debated between GREY GARDENS and LOVEMUSIK, and I still keep LOVEMUSIK as my favorite disc of 2007 (not necessarily the best, though I do think it's the second best next to GREY GARDENS).
