Oscar YouTube Channel#1

So the Oscars started their own YouTube channel. It has some great clips on it.

I was very surprised that they put Michael Moore's acceptance speech for BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE up. It's the first time I've seen it since it first aired in 2003.

"Zac is sweet as can be. He's very much just a sweet kid from California who happens to have a face that looks like it was drawn by Michelangelo, (if Michelangelo did anime)."
-Adam Shankman.

"I haven't left this building since Windows 3.1!"

"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!"

Oh man, I remember watching the Michael Moore speech with my mom when it first aired... TENSE...

Benigni has one of my favourite Oscar speeches ever. He's just adorable.

Did he say "They gave me the greatest gift: poverty"?
I love him!

I also love that they just let him go and go and go. No interrupting THIS speech. Who could.

Only he could pull that off though. If someone were to do that now, people probably would not consider it genuine.

It is a great moment. But his Oscar belonged to Ian McKellan.
