Love Heather on this song. Though I actually preferred Jane in the role.

I'm so used to the cast album I forgot about the bit where she screams and hides under the piano. This is why I wish more shows were preserved--the great little things you'll never remember. What a great song, great scene, and great performer.

I think they switched within the first few months of 2007. I can't remember exactly.

God, this show has such brilliant writing. Obsessed with Heather Laws completely now. The show has really grown on me since the beginning of the first act.

I never liked Marry Me a Little...don't know why, since it's got a nice tune and serves some purpose decently. Raul is great as in any song, though.

I missed the middle part of the first act because of a stupid meeting, but I'm watching it now, and forgot how much I completely love this show, and John Doyle's vision for it. Such beautiful orchestrations.

Almost better than seeing it at the Barrymore.

This production and John Doyle are genius. This is a resonant, smart, funny, but not snobbish production.

Enthralled. This is what good theater is supposed to be. Reading ATC you would think that someone just took a dump on Sondheim and the American theater in general, but now I know why I don't post there. I try to stay away from websites populated by people with single digit IQs.
