Is the In the Heights lottery going to be for the front 2 rows like Rent does? It doesn't say in the article it just says a limited number of seats. Or Are they just going to give whatever is left over?

"Two hours prior to each performance In The Heights, a limited number of tickets will be sold by lottery for the front row of the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) at $26.50 per ticket."
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
I know that but it doesn't say many seats they sell and where they will be located. I know that they have $20 rear mezz but I don't know where the lotto seats are gonna be.

And if you need to know how many seats are in the front row find a seating chart
coolkid, I don't mean to get rude, but this is getting a little bit frustrating.
Read the article. It states clearly that the lottery is for the front row. If it was for the first two rows, they would have specified so.
Why don't you call the box office?

Front row means FRONT ROW. Like every other lottery on Broadway save the one at RENT.

Just to make sure: "Two hours prior to each performance In The Heights, a limited number of tickets will be sold by lottery for the front row of the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) at $26.50 per ticket."
I want to know in what universe does FRONT ROW mean the first TWO rows? :P
Let's compare, shall we? (From playbill.com)
In the Heights Lottery Rush: $26.50 - a set number of front-row seats for each performance, sold via a lottery system.
Rent Lottery Rush: Two hours prior to each performance, 34 $20 tickets will be sold by lottery in front of the theatre. There is a limit of two per person. These tickets are located in the first two rows of the orchestra and must be paid for in cash.
Is the difference clear now???
