There is no other drug reference in the show, so after listening to the recording numerous times, and seeing the show three times, I would say it is the emotional baggage (though Hanschen sings "Shoot up some you, and the you is some song").
Well that line "Shoot up some you, and the you is some song," is kind of a drug reference type deal, but obviously the song is referring to their crushes.
"We all have our junk, and my junk is you." It's a metaphor. It's about crushes for the specific singer of that song, but obsession in general. It is a drug reference, in that they're comparing an obsession, or addiction, to a person with heroin.
It's just a message board. Let's not take it too seriously.
Yeah, I have to agree. I expected SA to win, so I wasn't really bugged, but hearing the lyrics a few more times, it's rather sickening. Some of them are just terrible.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
well now that I've been so terribly emotionally owned, may I just say that I hardly ever spend more than 15 minutes on the boards? and more often than not go a day or so without coming here? but yes I'm sorry yes you're right that was definetly worthy of an oh snap.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
The things that sucks – okay? – for me A thousand bucks, I’m, like, scott free And I mean, please…That’s all I need Get real, Jose! By now you know the score...
Non - Tony Winning Lyrics:
The summers over But I'm still a girl Covorting in my carnival crown From blossom to blossom I buzz like a bee Then glance in the mirror And who do I see A middle aged woman inhabiting me Because it's winter In a summer town
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Yesterday's dreams are faded bouquets Roses that died on the vine Yesterday seems More real than today It's difficult drawing the line
My season ended A long time ago But no one took the party tins down The pink paper lanterns still twinkle away My young navy hero His tender embrace That sapphire blue ocean Oh, how can I face Another winter In a summer town
