I've seen it from Left Orch. Row D (On the center aisle) and the extreme left in Row U.
I loved U, and hated D. D was just too close, and U was great. Center would have been better and I imagine a smidgen closer might have made it great, too.
I was thinking that something like B or C would be good, but a little to close. I want to be able to have a full view, and basically be able to see facial expressions, but not too close.
Anywhere from the front to around row L should give you facial expressions. The auditorium has a good rake to it, so it's not as far, necessarily, as it may appear on seating charts.
