at the Barnes and Noble in Lincoln Triangle, following a 3 song performance on Friday, February 23, at 5:30 PM. All 14 cast members will be on hand to sign the newly released album.
They just can't do anything while I'm there, can they? It's physically impossible. Have fun people who go!
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
Wow! Beats waiting in the cold post-performance. But - Sondheim absent? But this is perfect - I will be in New York that day anyway. Hooray!
PS - I don't recall this B&N having that big a space. Are they not planning on many people, or are they hoping for lines around the block? That is a performance night, after all.

I want to say somewhere upstairs there's a space reserved for this stuff. That B&N is where they did the Grey Gardens signing. I think a lot of them happen there, since it's Lincoln Center and rather arts-oriented, so I'm assuming they do have the space. They do a lot of book signings there, too.
They have a huge room on the third floor, which should provide enough space. I went to two book signings there last summer for Daniel Silva and Jasper Fforde.
Hehe, I'm not sure if I want to have my CD signed, but I'm definitely going to go at least for the performances. Because I love free performances.
Anyway, that came out way meaner than it was intended to be. I just mean that it's not going to be like... the Rent movie signing was. I think (and hope) it'll get a decent crowd, though.
Oh man, I really want to go. Sounds awesome & I'd love to meet you guys! I'd have to take off early from work though... (I work til 8.) You think if I leave at 5 I'd have enough time to get from Soho to Lincoln Square or might there be a line?

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Yay! My boss says I can leave early to go to this (he loves Broadway also and *really* adored the Company revival! Maybe I'll pick him up a copy of the CD as well.)
Sounds like there will be a lot of BWW-ers there, anyone planning on meeting up?
