My Fair Lady! I'm ashamed!
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Derek Mahon

"Maybe all one can do is hope to end up with the right regrets."

I was a youngin. 4 years old at Cats. But I don't exactly count that. 6 years old at Crazy For You. love that show!
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.
~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.
~Curtains~

It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known.

Funny, I actually lost my virginity on Broadway...still looking for it.

However, I was 10 or 11 at the original Company.

I was 10 or 11... I don't even remember if it was Beauty and the Beast or Les Miserables. I saw them pretty close together. I don't know what my parents were thinking when they took me to see Les mis, but thankfully i wasn't too bored. I love it now and cannot wait for the revival.

4 or 5. Once Upon a Matress with SJP. Honestly, I remember nothing about the show except loving the balcony that we were sitting on. re: How old were you when you lost your Broadway virginity?

13. I saw Wicked.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

It was the summer of 2003 in early August. I was 11 years old. It was Beauty & the Beast.

The year - 1993
The college I attended was asked by Disney to put a choir together and tour the states for a couple months doing 'Disney's Symphonic Fantasy'.
We were at the Met for two weeks and a group of us went to see 'Crazy For You'.
We also saw 'Goodbye Girl', 'Will Rogers' Follies', 'Kiss of the Spider Woman', and 'Jelly's Last Jam'.
I was hooked.
