I found a video of the entire first act of RENT - performed "en Espanol" by the Bolivian cast.

Of course, if you have a dial-up connection, it will take forever to download.

The set and costumes are oddly middle-class suburban looking - wooden IKEA-esque tables and chairs, and costumes that look verty "Old Navy".

I saw this a while ago (can you really post the link here)? I was trying to figure out if this was a professional production or not? The non-choreography of "Out Tonight" is staggering, and Angel is just .... I'd say Old Navy is being generous.

Well, I have now learned that Spanish cows don't say "moo" - they say "MUH!"

Here's the link for the second act!

Thanks for the link. Did I hear that April's been changed to December? I definitely didn't hear April named in "Light My Candle." Anyone else hear this change?

I'm sure it's every bit as legal as everything else posted on Video Google ......

Original Bolivian Cast?
I don't think there is such a thing.
If anything , the musical made it to Mexico and Argentina (maybe Brasil).
This can't be professional, or for that matter legal. Funny, though.

"Let the little girl go, and that poor little dog? Dodo." That's my favorite line in the whole show (Wicked). My next favorite line is "Oh! It seems the artichoke is steamed."
