Sorry about all the seating questions, but my wife is kind of OCD when it comes to preparing a vacation so she wants me to buy tickets as soon as possible for at least the shows we really want to see.
Are there any seats or sections better for Wicked tickets sold as "Partial View?" I searched and an older post said that row A partial view tickets weren't that good, but I found some for the matinee when we'll be in town for row K. Are those any better? worse? no difference?
The theatre is built well, each seat has visibility. The only thing is that the show uses two side staircases but you can easily see past them. Also, all primary, and most of the secondary, action takes place center stage. Any seat will do.

Row K had a wonderful view. I sat in row L on the right side last week and you can see perfectly.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Definitely a good deal, and the farther back the row, the less obstructed your view will be since you're at less of an angle. I was in row D (or DD?) and couldn't see about 25% of the stage on the side I was sitting in, but for Row K, I think you'll be more than fine.

I agree...partial views are the best bargain at Wicked. I almost always sit there, and haven't had a problem seeing from most seats. The only seats I hate are CC9 and CC10. If you have a choice, go with the even side over the odd side, because the staircase on the odd side juts out further than the ladder on the even side, so your view is more obstructed. But all you miss is some scenery...that's it. Definitely a good deal and I think much better than sitting in the rear mezz, which will cost you about the same.
Thanks to everyone for all the info. I bit the bullet and got the seats in Row K, seats 29-31 for the Wednesday matinee when we'll be there. I figure that way we get to see the show at a good value and hopefully the number of teeny boppers will be at a minimum.
Okay, I just thought I might as well post this to give people an idea on what partial view looks like. This picture is from Row CC seat 9 and you can see everything but the backdrops, which you can see absolutely nothing of. I guess you also miss Elphaba's entrance at the dance and the farmhouse too, but nothing super important.
Hopefully this can eliminate some of the questions about partial view at Wicked. Any questions, pm me. Updated On: 1/27/08 at 12:34 PM
