Another Secret Garden Question for you Please!!!!!!

Okay, I've never seen the Stage version and I want to audition for Dickon. I have the cast soundtrack. Does Dickon play some type of fife/recorder type of instrument?

I play the saxophone, clarinet and flute, and even have a few recorder type things. So he if has to play something like that it's will be really easy for me and totally do-able. And it would be easy for me to remember some little ditty that he has to play and get fingering down.

So does Dickon have to play something like this? If so then I'm definately going to note this on my audition form under special skills!

I believe that Dickon may have played some sort of instrument. It wouldn't hurt to put those skills on your resume anyways.

Thank you! I do list them on my resume, but this theatre always has you feel out audition forms, and that's what they also look at.

There is absolutlely nothing in the script to suggest Dickon plays an instrument. If he did in some production, that was a director's choice.
