While Price used Timothy Nolen in the Sweeney concert and Thomas Allen, Paul Groves and Stanford Olsen in the Candide concert, both those works straddle the border between operetta and music theatre, so casting those kinds of voices made sense. Company is purely a work of musical comedy, so I'm pretty sure Price will be sticking to Broadway talent.

Well, I doubt they will do SUNDAY IN THE PARK, WEST SIDE STORY or A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC as Broadway productions are being planned. There has already been a major concert version of ANYONE CAN WHISTLE, so I'm not really sure what they could do.
Frankly, I think Sondheim's work is being pretty well represented at the moment. I'd vote that they consider another composer - we've had a lot more Sondheiim of late than Frank Loesser, Rodgers and Hammerstein or Lerner and Loewe who are certainly just as deserving of such a concert presentation.
